I have known the SWEAT/P4P crew for seven years now. Wow. My experience there has been nothing short of humbling, encouraging, challenging, and most importantly fun. Their approach to fitness is incredibly dynamic and fast-paced. On top of that though, they are a family and treat anyone who walks through their doors as such.
My relationship with Matt, Angela, Jose, and the rest of the crew has seen many seasons: from amateur to professional boxer, supporting me through wins and losses, attending my wedding, and now, helping me regain strength and fitness after having two kids. No matter what my condition though, they are always ready to “get back at it.”
On top of being great at what they do, Matt, Angela, and Jose are simply neat people to be around. Matt has an inspirational reflection or a thought-provoking quote for every situation. I always enjoy our conversations because he gets to the “bigger picture” and helps motivate in a way not many people can. Angela is incredibly sweet, but knows how to push you to your max (all with a smile). Jose holds a special place in my heart for the journey we took together in boxing. My friendship with all three of these people is unique; I appreciate that no matter how much time I am away, I’m always welcomed back with open arms and zero hesitation.
SWEAT/P4P offers so many options for fitness, from one-on-one personal training to group sessions. I especially love their punchers classes which are great for relieving stress while having some laughs, listening to fun music, and getting extremely sweaty!!
To the team at SWEAT and Pound 4 Pound, I thank you for challenging me both physically and mentally!
